How We Choose
Our 5-point selection criteria for Indian home appliances.
1. Indian Condition Testing
We don't just look at global ratings. We ask: Can this washing machine handle 1500+ TDS hard water? Does this fridge have a stabilizer-free operation for voltage fluctuations? Is this water purifier effective against borewell minerals?
2. Service & Parts Availability
A great appliance is useless if it can't be fixed. We prioritize brands that have a verified service presence in at least 500+ Indian cities and whose spare parts are reasonably priced and available.
3. Value vs. Price
We don't always recommend the cheapest option. We look for the "sweet spot" where the build quality and features justify the price tag. We often suggest mid-range models that offer 90% of premium features at 60% of the cost.
4. Verified User Sentiment
We ignore "sponsored" reviews. We look at 3-star and 4-star reviews on Amazon and Flipkart to find the most honest feedback about noise levels, electricity bills, and build quality after 6 months of use.
Transparency Matters
We never show fake ratings or "best price guaranteed" labels. Our data is manually curated by experts who understand the Indian appliance landscape. If a product has a known flaw, we list it in the "Cons" section.
