Our Independence
Shopaluru is an independent buying guide. We are not owned by any appliance manufacturer or retailer. Our primary goal is to provide honest, practical advice to Indian families helping them spend their money wisely.
While we earn through affiliate commissions, these do not influence which products we recommend. We recommend products based on their performance, features, and suitability for Indian conditions, regardless of the commission rate.
Research Process
Every guide on Shopaluru undergoes a rigorous research process:
- 01.Market Scanning: We identify the most popular and newly launched models in the Indian market across Amazon, Flipkart, and Croma.
- 02.Spec Analysis: We compare technical specifications against real-world Indian needs (hard water, power fluctuations, large family sizes).
- 03.Review Aggregation: We analyze thousands of verified buyer reviews to identify common long-term issues that spec sheets don't show.
- 04.Service Check: We prioritize brands with a strong service network in Tier 1 and Tier 2 Indian cities.
Fact-Checking & Updates
Prices and availability of appliances change frequently. We aim to update our core buying guides every 3–6 months. Each guide has a "Last Updated" date to show you how fresh the information is.
